The Rebelles are set to storm back onto the live scene with a sensational show at Brunswick’s Spotted Mallard on Friday 13 November. The Rebelles have finally caught their collective breath after the wild shenanigans of their Go! Rebelle! album launch back in July, but enough is enough. It’s time to get the get go going again, so let’s get going!
Kicking off the evening – and we mean KICKING! – will be one of Melbourne’s hottest three piece acts, J Goody Goodman and the Nite Owls. You know you’re in for a treat when three chaps with this sort of hot musical pedigree walk on stage: J Goody Goodman (ace SoCal / Nawlens rockabilly dude), Steve Phillips (charming Ska Vendors / Melbourne Ska Orchestra drummer par excellence) and Mike St Claire-Miller (bad ass Benny and the Fly By Niters bass baron).
The Nite Owls aim straight for the hips with a thick slice of mid-century tropical Americana, including grooves from New Orleans, southern Texas and Jamaica – perfect for your Black Friday delectations!
Lucky the Spotted Mallard has an ace dance floor, we’re getting a spooky feeling it’s gonna be one hot and sweaty nite!
