Best Christmas Show Ever! Saturday December 21 @ the LuWOW

Twas four nights before Christmas / And all through the LuWOW / All the cool cats were dancing / At The Rebelles big Christmas show!

This year The Rebelles will be storming the LuWOW on Saturday December 21 with a not-to-be-missed rockin’ mix of everyone’s favourite Spector carols, girl-group dance floor stormers and heavenly harmonies. Ring-a-linga-linga-ding-dong-ding, indeed!

Also on the bill are Melbourne’s own Tijuana Peanut, a collection of some of Australia’s hottest musicians unwrapping a choice selection from Herb Alpert’s iconic Tijuana Brass Christmas album. And first serve of the eggnog comes from The Bridgettes – think the best parts of Motown crossed with Burt Bacharach in a back to basics vocal fashion.

Add to all of this the traditional LuWOW Santa smashing, the compering brainlessness and bad taste of Frosty the ‘Snow Bastard’, and the cheesiest Christmas records we can find, all in a forest of cheery Christmas tat. What better way to get in the mood for “The Best Christmas Ever”!

The weather is set to be a cracker so slip on a shirt, slop on sunscreen and slap on a hat and we’ll see you Sunday! And if you can’t make it, be sure to tune in to the live broadcast on RRR 102.7FM or the live stream at http://www.rrr.org.au
